Location: Menara Zurich, Johor / Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
Interior Styling:
- Develop and execute styling concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Curate furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork, and accessories to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing environments.
- Work closely with interior designers and project managers to align styling concepts with the overall design vision.
Furniture and Product Sourcing:
- Research and source furniture, accessories, and décor from high-quality brands and suppliers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of furniture trends, materials, and innovative design pieces.
- Develop strong relationships with furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure the best quality and pricing.
Supplier and Vendor Collaboration:
- Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, and third-party vendors to coordinate the procurement and delivery of styling elements.
- Negotiate pricing, manage orders, and ensure timely deliveries to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with vendors to create custom furniture or bespoke items when necessary.
Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, presenting them with styling options that align with their vision.
- Provide mood boards, sketches, and product proposals to communicate styling concepts clearly.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple styling projects simultaneously, ensuring all are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of sourcing options, pricing, and supplier contacts for future projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Interior Stylist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of furniture brands, materials, and design trends.
- Strong relationships with furniture suppliers, accessory providers, and third-party vendors.
- Ability to source and curate furniture, accessories, and other design elements tailored to each project.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and composition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in creating mood boards, design presentations, and other visual tools.
- Familiarity with CAD, Photoshop, or other design software is a plus.
- Proficient in English and Chinese language.
